We love it when new clients seek us out after a recommendation by a satisfied customer. And that’s precisely how we started working with the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation back in 2020, when we were contracted to provide written translations of working documents, reports, news, and correspondence. The languages we use most frequently in this work are English, Polish, Japanese, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, and Portuguese.
Our working relationship with the Accounts Chamber expanded the following year, in 2021, to include interpretation services at various events.

- Meetings of Russian Accounts Chamber executives with foreign colleagues in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Suzdal, London, Riyadh, and online (French, Portuguese, German, and English).
- A meeting of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) (English).
- Accompanying Accounts Chamber delegations at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (English and Arabic) and the Russia–Africa Summit (Arabic, English, Portuguese, and French).
- A Russia–China exchange of experience seminar (Chinese).
The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation is the country’s supreme audit body. The Chamber audits the use of budgetary funds and monitors progress in the achievement of socio-economic target indicators.
INTOSAI
A significant part of the Chamber’s international activities relates to its membership in the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), which it headed up in 2019–2022.
One of the largest online events that Russian Translation Company has been involved in was the INTOSAI Conference held in April 2021, where we provided simultaneous interpretation services and technical support. The working languages at the event were Russian, English, Spanish, German, French, and Arabic. A hub was set up at our office with five simultaneous interpretation booths fitted out with interpretation equipment and a connection to the Zoom platform.
We were also asked to provide written translations of learning materials for the INTOSAI University’s educational platform into Arabic, English, German, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
While the 2022 edition of the INTOSAI Conference was cancelled, Russian Translation Company still provided translation services at another interesting INTOSAI event – the INTOSAI Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The interpreter accompanying the delegation had the opportunity to use all his working languages at the event: English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
