Since 2011, Russian Translation Company has been providing translation and interpretation services in the field of pharmaceuticals and veterinary medicine to a company under the Merck Group banner. We started out translating small texts — the ones the company considered the most important. But, over time, the client came to realize that it needed high quality and impeccable service across the board. So, it started coming to us for translations of:

As the subject is quite complex, we often engage translators with a degree in chemistry or medicine. We tend to deal with European languages here, primarily Dutch, English, French, German, and Spanish.
In addition, RPK frequently provided English-speaking tour guides and tour-guide systems for the client’s VIP guests. We have also started supplying consecutive interpretation services at events in Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as simultaneous interpretation at online conferences on business development, GMP inspections and drugs produced by the company.
Merck is one of the oldest international chemical and pharmaceutical companies in the world. RPK works with one of its subsidiaries involved in the production of veterinary drugs.
GMP abroad
We have also provided interpretation during GMP inspections of Merck facilities in Europe (Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom) and the United States. The restrictions on foreign travel mean that some of the inspections had to be held online. Because of this, we started engaging local interpreters, all of whom had to pass an interview at the Russian Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare. No RPK interpreter has ever failed it.
